Insurance & Eligibility
WHO WE SERVE
VCBH provides behavioral health services to individuals who meet eligibility criteria through programs administered by the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS), including:
- Specialty Mental Health Services for Medi-Cal beneficiaries
- Substance Use Disorder (SUD) services under the Drug Medi-Cal (DMC-ODS) program
INSURANCE & COVERAGE INFORMATION
- Medi-Cal: VCBH is contracted with DHCS to provide certain mental health and substance use disorder services to active Medi-Cal beneficiaries. Services must meet medical necessity criteria and be authorized through appropriate processes.
- Medicare: Some services at VCBH may be reimbursable under Medicare. Coverage varies, and not all services may be eligible for reimbursement.
- Commercial/Private Insurance: VCBH is not a contracted provider with commercial or employer-sponsored health insurance plans.
