Notice is hereby given that Ventura County Behavioral Health has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) on July 7, 2023 for qualified applicants to solicit proposals to provide services for one or more of the following efforts:
- Opioids and Illicit Drug Initiative: Prevention and Education
- Opioids and Illicit Drug Initiative: Naloxone Distribution and Overdose Response Training
- Opioids and Illicit Drug Initiative: Engaging Medical Professionals to Prevent Overdose
- Addressing Health Disparities Initiative
- Marijuana & Vaping Prevention Initiative
- Underage and Binge Drinking Prevention Initiative
- Impaired Driving Prevention Initiative
- Technical Assistance and Training Services
- Media and Prevention Messaging Services
- Research and Evaluation Services and
- School-Based Prevention Services

RFP responses are due by Monday August 21, 2023 no later than 5:00 p.m. Completed proposals should be submitted through the Bonfire system.

Ventura County Behavioral Health
Community Mini-Grants Program
Notice is hereby given that Ventura County Behavioral Health (VCBH) has issued a Notice of Availability of Funding on February 23, 2023 for applications for Community Mini-Grants Program funding. Through the Community Mini-Grants Program, VCBH is making funding available through competitive grants for new contract providers to pilot community engagement events or programs. Projects must address the needs of unserved and underserved populations in Ventura County.
Applications are due by Tuesday, April 4, 2023 no later than 5:00 p.m. to Maryza Seal, VCBH Contracts Manager, at VCBH, 1911 Williams Drive, Suite 200, Oxnard, CA 93036.
