- Effective January 1, 2026, there will be a $2.00 increase to the Birth, Death, and Fetal Death certificates.
- The Office of Vital Records will be closed on Thursday, December 25, 2025, in observance of Christmas Day.
The Office of Vital Records in Oxnard only has records for 2025-2026 for current births, deaths, and fetal deaths that occurred in Ventura County. However, we can issue certificates of stillbirth from 2003 to the present.
For Birth, Death, Fetal Death, and Marriage certificates for any other year, including 2025 and 2026, you can visit the Ventura County Clerk-Recorder Office. The Office of Vital Records in Oxnard does NOT provide marriage certificates.
Services are available in person, by mail, or online.
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., closed daily between 12:00 – 12:45 p.m.
