Our trained Certified Application Assistors help individuals at no charge, apply for Medi-Cal, Covered California and other low-cost insurance programs. We make the insurance enrollment and renewal process easier to access and understand. This program is funded through Maternal, Child, and Adolescent Health (MCAH).<br \/><br \/>For more information, contact: Ventura County Public Health at (805) 981-5212 or (866) 481-7674.<br \/><br \/><strong>ALL CHILDREN (0-18) AND YOUNG ADULT MEDI-CAL EXPANSION PROGRAM (AGES 19-26)<\/strong><br \/>All Children and Young Adult Medi-Cal Expansion Program provides youth (0-18) and young adults ages 19-26 with Medi-Cal Coverage regardless of legal\/immigration status as long as they meet income eligibility requirements. If your child is 0-26 years of age, they are eligible for health coverage. Children\/young adults may also be enrolled in CHDP or CCS.<br \/><br \/><strong>OLDER ADULT EXPANSION (AGES 50 AND OLDER)<\/strong><br \/>As of May 1, 2022, California law gave access to full-scope Medi&#8211;Cal to adults 50 years of age or older, regardless of immigration status. All other Medi-Cal eligibility rules, including income limits, will still apply.<br \/><br \/><strong>ADULT EXPANISION (AGES 26-49)<\/strong><br \/>Beginning January 1, 2024, a new law in California will allow adults ages 26 through 49 to qualify for full-scope Medi-Cal, regardless of immigration status.
