Public Health Laboratory performs communicable disease testing to support public health programs, environmental health, and animal regulation. The Laboratory is an approved public health laboratory offering testing in the areas of:<\/p><ul><li>Bacteriology<\/li><li>Mycobacteriology<\/li><li>Mycology<\/li><li>Parasitology<\/li><li>Serology<\/li><li>Virology<\/li><li>Water Microbiology<\/li><\/ul><p>We are dedicated to excellence in diagnostic testing, consultation, and assistance. We provide highly specialized diagnostic testing for serious infectious diseases, including rabies, HIV, chlamydia, gonorrhea, and syphilis. We provide a range of environmental testing services to ensure safe water for drinking and recreation. Our reference services can assist with any public health concern.<br \/><br \/>We utilize the most effective fluorescent antibody and RNA amplification techniques available for infectious disease testing.
